INTRODUCTORY CLASS - FREE

If you are new to CrossFit or want to check us out, you are welcome to come in and watch one of our training sessions. If you would like to give it a try, you can join us for a free one-on-one Intro Session. Intro Sessions are free to all interested members-to-be and give us a chance to get to know you, your goals, expectations, and fitness experience. The Intro also lets you learn more about CrossFit and the program we offer. Just contact us for an appointment and make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes before the class starts so you can fill out a waiver form and warm up.

ELEMENTS

Big Sky CrossFit, Great Falls, Montana Bumper Lift

Our CrossFit Elements Course is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants ultimately to train in one of our ongoing group classes. In this four-day course (2x per week) you will learn about Big Sky CrossFit, our approach and how with some commitment and hard work all of your goals will be accomplished with the basic, functional movements of CrossFit. In order for you to progress and realize fitness success; safe and proper form is the first step, then mastering the movements with efficiency is next. We'll start with relatively non-technical body weight exercises such as: squats, pushups, pullups, lunges, situps, as well as some advanced body weight movements like plyometrics. Then we move onto kettebell and medicine ball activity. Lastly we introduce you to the core barbell and olympic movements: deadlifts, front squat, overhead squat, presses and jerks, and both the clean and snatch. Each day will conclude with a workout; as the program progresses, so will the difficulty. We also cover CrossFit theory and other concepts. This is a lot to learn in four days and so class sizes are capped at 10. Again, the purpose of this program is strictly for learning and to introduce the intensity that a Crossfit WOD (Workout of the Day) should have; as well as to show you that anyone can do these workouts, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. Of course, if the Elements Course schedule is not one that you can make yourself available to, we can schedule private sessions.

PRIVATE / SEMI-PRIVATE COACHING

If you can't fit our Elements program into your schedule, have an issue that warrants more personal attention (post-rehab strengthening and conditioning), are wanting more intensive coaching in a specific sport discipline (i.e., Olympic Lifting, wrestling, etc.), or simply feel more comfortable in a one-on-one setting, please contact us.
